Feeling a little anxious about next week's pool party? Improve your bikini bod with these 10 tips for burning extra calories from eDiets:

  • Do 10 minutes of continuous exercise every morning--walk the dog or start your day with a few sets of push-ups and sit-ups
  • Walk faster--If it typically takes 15 minutes to walk to the store, do it in 12
  • Take the stairs to work--We know this one gets reported a lot, but it works
  • Perform small isometric exercises while seated--suck your tummy in, flex your biceps
  • Invest in a pedometer ($10 to $30) and make sure you get 10,000 steps a day
  • Exercise during commercials
  • Pick an exercise each day and do it for 7 minutes (think dips off your office chair)
  • Always take the longest route
  • Take two stairs at a time
  • Find a fitness buddy
