Stop the Madness!

by WiredBerries Editors — March 26, 2008

You've just finished four handfuls of peanut M&Ms without really noticing and you can't figure out why you feel exhausted, starving, and ancy all at the same time. You keep rereading the same email from a coworker because you can't focus, and you're just about to mindlessly reach for another handful of sugar. STOP! You're not going to find motivation or energy at the bottom of that candy bowl. Get up and move away from your computer. You will be so much happier and more productive if you grab your jacket and get outside for a few minutes. Take a 20-minute walk or simply once around the block. A walk can clear the late-morning clutter from your brain and help you regain focus in the midst of a never-ending afternoon. The hardest part is breaking away and getting outside, so stop needlessly surfing the 'net and get going! Fresh air awaits you!
