Even people who don't tolerate cow milk are often able to drink goat milk. Now researchers are saying that goat milk is all around better based on a comparative study on the properties of goat milk compared with cow milk. Goat milk was found to help with the digestive and metabolic utilization of minerals such as iron, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. The research carried out at the Department of Physiology of the University of Granada also revealed that goat milk is more nutritious and has other superior properties compared with cow milk. Among these properties it helps to prevent ferropenic anemia (iron deficiency) and bone demineralization (softening of the bones). However, goat milk is not as mild as cow milk, and for the uninitiated, it is often an acquired taste.
