![]() The Ghost of Christmas Perfectionby WiredBerries Editors — December 14, 2007Almost everyone has a bit of perfectionist hiding inside, even if it only rears it's demanding head every once in a while. But if any time really brings it out, it's the holidays. There seems to be an unspoken rule that we need to enjoy the holidays more than others times of the year, which can cause some of us to go overboard in wanting everything to be "perfect." The problem is that rather than making things better, perfectionism tends to just be exhausting. In extreme forms, it can even cause a nervous breakdown.
