![]() A Bit of Good Luck to Yaby WiredBerries Editors — March 17, 2008St. Patrick's Day is steeped in tradition and offers a chance to gain a little good luck, a bit of a blessing, and some nutrition to offset the effects of all that green beer. For good luck, look for a four-leafed clover, wear green, or, if you have the chance, kiss the Blarney stone. If you're nowhere near the lucky stone, an Irish blessing offers a bit of good fortune to those you love: May you always have... And just to ensure your good health, partake of a bit of a traditional Irish meal, which includes cabbage. Cabbage ranks right up there with broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts with a reputation for fighting cancer and being a good source of Vitamin C, fiber, potassium, and other nutrients.
