Another Reason to Eat Like You're Mediterranean

Raise a glass of red wine to the delicious Mediterranean diet! According to Science Daily, research involving almost 2000 subjects in NYC revealed that following a Mediterranean diet greatly lowers risk for Alzheimer's disease. The Mediterranean diet is made up of a high intake of whole grains, fruits, nuts, legumes, fish and olive oil, and modest intake of red wine. Those that incorporated several had a reduced risk of Alzheimer's disease by 53%, and those that closely adhered to this diet had a 68% reduction.
