![]() Is Big Business Catching the Green Bug?by WiredBerries Editors — November 8, 2007A sure sign that the green vibe is catching on to big business, Macy's West received a 2007 Green Power Leadership award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the company's California solar power program. The company was recognized by the EPA for its efforts to reduce the risk of climate change through green power purchasing. The company has purchased more than 10 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of green power in 28 California Macy's stores.
