![]() Food for Thoughtby WiredBerries Editors — January 23, 2008I spent a long time at the grocery store last week staring at the jam and jelly section. I was trying to find what appeared to be a non-existent product: preserves made with organic fruit and either low sugar or fruit-juice concentrate as the sweetener. Frustrated, I returned home determine to find a decent brand online and discovered Food for Thought. With a vision of treading softly on our human and natural environment, Timothy Young founded Food For Thought in 1995. He started the business out of his home with nothing more than a copper kettle and some organic fruit, and was soon crafting organic and wild-harvested specialty foods that have earned the company both local and regional attention. With an emphasis on premium quality, low sugar, organic wine and herb- infused preserves, the line has grown to include salsas, mustards, dried fruits, and other condiments. What a sweet thought!
What people are saying...
Thank You!! Thank You!! I find it very hard to find food without all the added junk we don't need or want. I do the stuff myself and when you can in season. That's a problem in a winter climate. I will check this Mr.Timothy Young out. Best Wishes Comment on this Post
