Long, Lovely Lashes

I'm lucky -- I have long lovely lashes. However, I also am very fair skinned and, thus, without mascara, I closely resemble Opie Taylor. Since I started wearing makeup way back when, not many days have passed without a swipe to the eyelashes before leaving the house. So, it was with a heavy heart that I finally recognized I had developed an allergic reaction to all my favorite mascara brands. Drugstore finds to luxury brands alike, they all caused me to walk around with bloodshot itchy eyes. Too vain to give up luxe lashes, I stumbled upon Jane Iredale at my local "integrative pharmacy" and have been thanking the diva gods since. The company offers paraben-free, phthalate-free mineral makeup that is actually good for your skin. I've been so happy with the long-lash mascara that I can't wait to try the rest of the line!
