Cranberry Ginger Iced Tea

by Laura Donnelly — August 29, 2007

Bring along plenty to drink. Invest in a good insulated, unbreakable pitcher with a secure lid. Try this recipe for Cranberry Ginger Iced Tea or buy some sangria from your local Mexican restaurant or tapas bar. Herbal teas (Remember Celestial Seasonings? They still make the best iced teas!) are a refreshing non-alcoholic addition.

Cranberry Ginger Iced Tea
Serves 8

4 cups water with 4 Tablespoons fresh grated ginger and 4 Tablespoons sugar, boiled, strained, and cooled
4 cups cranberry juice cocktail (or cranberry/pomegranate juice)
Lime wedges for garnish

Combine ingredients, refrigerate. Play around with this recipe, try making the water part with hibiscus tea leaves or lemon verbena. Add mint.

What people are saying...

does anyone have a good recipe for "sun" tea using green tea? Mine turns out a little bit pale and weak.
thanks!
