Can I tell you what is sexy to me? You can't answer me right away, so I'm going to tell you anyways.

Sass.

I love it. I love a playful jibe or a roll of the eyes at the right moment. If I'm interested in you, and you like everything I say and I can tell, then the challenge of the chase is over; the fun is gone. But if you let me know that I'm not quite in control as much as I thought, then I am TOTALLY turned on.

There is a huge difference between 'hard-to-get' and playful. Please understand that saying "no" over and over again is not encouraging, sexy, or enticing. Rolling your eyes at everything I say is annoying, not sexy. But a harmless taunt, a smart and quick remark, someone who can let me poke fun at them and send it right back; THAT is magical. There's nothing hotter than a girl looking me straight in the eye and saying "You're not that cool, trust me." I love it, and it'll certainly make me try harder (as long as she was smiling when she said it).

I used to think that wit and banter was a gift that some people are born with and others are not. I was disappointed when I realized that playful razzing didn't come naturally to me. But if experience has taught me anything, it's that knowing the right level of satire and the ability to wisecrack is certainly a learned behavior (and that practice makes perfect).

I certainly realize that most guys are simple minded enough that a little flattery will get you everywhere. But please, PLEASE know that there is a multitude of guys out there (out here) who absolutely love it when you temper your praise with a little well-timed teasing.
