Cereal Box Storage

by WiredBerries Readers — April 24, 2007

"Storing some foods in plastic bags and wrap ruins the texture because the plastic tends to soften that sought-after crunch," says Darlene Pucillo of Portland, OR. "To keep your home-made ginger snaps snappy and your hard-crusted bread crusty, look no further than your cereal box shelf. Empty the cereal into a plastic bag and use the waxy cereal bag for your special storage needs. And while you're at it, use the box too; it's perfect for added protection and also for transporting baked goods."
