![]() Easy Garlic Pasteby WiredBerries Readers — April 6, 2007If you've ever tried to make garlic paste with the flat of a chef's knife, you know what a smelly and messy chore this can be. Laura Feingold of Sayville, NY, suggests an alternative. "Peel and coarsely chop garlic cloves and sprinkle with a little salt," she writes. "Then place them in a small pile between sheets of saran or plastic wrap and use the underside of a small ramekin to press the garlic, smearing it to make a smooth paste."
