Green Tea Power Breakfast

by WiredBerries Readers — April 3, 2007

Stacy Larsen of Portland, OR, has another smoothie recipe for this week. "Skip your morning coffee and make this low-fat, to-go breakfast packed with fiber, calcium, omega-3s, and cancer-fighting antioxidents," she suggests.

1 cup strong brewed green tea, cooled
1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
1 cup fresh or frozen berries
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt or fortified vanilla soymilk
1 tablespoon honey

Blend until smooth. Makes 2-3 servings.
