![]() Beet Stains Be Goneby WiredBerries Readers — May 9, 2007Fresh beets are one of the tastiest vegetables around, but handling them can often leave bright violet stains on your skin. Carmen DeSoto of San Jose, CA, recommends rubbing one hand--the one you use to hold the beet--with a little vegetable oil. Keep your knife-holding hand dry.
