Slicing Eggs

by WiredBerries Readers — May 25, 2007

Halving hard-cooked eggs for salads or deviled eggs is often a messy chore, resulting in uneven edges and crumbly yolks. Lateasha Harris of Brooklyn, NY, solves the problem by using unflavored dental floss as a "knife." Pull the floss taut and slide it lengthwise through the egg. To make quarters, simply use a clean piece of floss and slide it through the center once again.
